ASSISTED LIVING
An Assisted Living Community, also referred to as an ALF, offers a housing alternative for older adults who may need help with dressing, bathing, eating, and toileting, but not require the intensive medical and nursing care provided in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF).

BOARD & CARE HOME
A Board & Care Communities offer specialized services for residents suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease or other form of Dementia or memory loss. Many ALFs also offer specialized Memory Care programs.

MEMORY CARE
ALF, Board & Care and Memory Care communities are all licensed and inspected by the State Department of Social Services to ensure that your health and safety needs are always met. Staff that are employed by these communities must meet strict state requirements including background check, fingerprinting and physicals.
